My wife and I moved to San Francisco this past year from Minnesota. We were looking for an experienced and professional real estate agent that knows the neighborhoods of San Francisco. This was our 3rd house purchase so we knew the importance of finding a great real estate agent to represent us. We met several agents and decided to go with John…
John listened to what we were looking for and helped us narrow in on a few neighborhoods.
We found a place within a month and helped us through the buying process including the differences in California (versus Minnesota).

-Listens: Not pushy, listened to what we wanted/needed and helped guide us to the decision.

John worked with us during the worst of the housing market in San Francisco, to sell our home for a good price and buy a condo for a commensurately good price. He has good instincts and good negotiating skills, and he’s an expert in this market.

I usually do not write review other than “browsing”. I just sold my property through this agent, so I felt like to share the experience.
For me, this agent did beyond what he should do to help me out in this tough “buyer’s market”, comparing to other real estate agents I hired before. I saw his “For Sale” signs often in the area I lived and chatted with him a few times. I chose him because he seemed to be very professional ( marketing veteran of the tech industry), friendly and honest.
BTW, my property’ price is at the low-end, and several unexpected issues came up during the process. However, he spent a lot of time with me and the buyer’s agent to work out things. He seems to be very organized, and somehow able to remember a lot of details.
